Cherry Blossom trees in full bloom.

Cherry blossoms can be viewed from January to June in different regions in Japan, but the majority flower between March and May. The Japanese people hold cherry blossom festivals during this time and they are very popular social occasions with places to put your picnic blanket down often claimed before dawn.

Thank you for visiting~

The Cherry trees will be starting to be at their best now in the Japanese Springtime and here in Newcastle there are signs of Spring too. Snowdrops are blooming round about and the sun has made a welcome return. We nearly had 10º the other day !!

We have now had our Autumn harvest Koi in the show ponds for a couple of weeks and they have settled brilliantly and are eating us out of house & home.

Because the Koi are looking so good I thought I should probably bring th website out of hibernation as well so all the fish are now on the "Koi Pages"

After such a long, cold, snowy Winter here's hoping for a long, warm, sunny Summer and best wishes to you all for a fantastic Koi keeping season.
