Blanketweed Control

It can be the scourge of ponds and yet some lucky pondkeepers do not even know what Blanketweed looks like.

Anyone who does have it will know it can block pumps and bottom drains, choke plants and generally look very unsightly. It can range from short little strands on the side of the pond to covering everything in long green hairs which grow at an alarming rate.

Worst during the Summer, when temperatures and light levels are high, if you have had Blanketweed infestations in previous years, then perhaps a preventative treatment would be better than killing a large amount in one go with the risk of overwhelming you filtration system.
